Manhattan Love Story co-stars Jake McDorman and Analeigh Tipton are dating

They play a new couple in the upcoming TV show Manhattan Love Story.

And it seems it's a case of life imitating art for Jake McDorman and Analeigh Tipton.

The 28-year-old actor allegedly is dating his 25-year-old co-star, reports Us Weekly.

The pair are currently filming the freshman ABC romantic comedy series in New York City.

They were first seen sharing a kiss while seated in the stands at a US Open match in New York last month.

Analeigh, a former America's Next Top Model contestant, got engaged in December to her then boyfriend Aaron McManus after a six-year relationship.

But a source tells Us Weekly the Crazy, Stupid, Love actress did not 'break off her engagement for [Jake]'.

Jake is best known for his role as Evan Chambers in the teen series Greek, which went off the air in 2011.

The Texas native was most recently seen on Showtime comedy-drama Shameless in the role of Mike Pratt.

In Manhattan Love Story, Jake and Analeigh play Peter and Dana, who have just started dating each other. 

Viewers will be privy to Peter and Dana's inner thoughts, to 'establish that men and women think about things differently,' said creator Jeff Lowell during a press conference in July.

The series premieres on Tuesday, September 30 at 8.30pm on ABC.
